Storms sweep through Miami Valley, more than 10K people without power – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

Most of the outages occurred in Montgomery County.

Duke Energy's outage map report shows 436 Duke Energy customers were without power in Butler and Warren.

The following counties reported outages:

• montgomery county: 7,365
• greene county: 1,368
• clinton county: 640
• Warren County: 507
• miami county: 330
• Butler County: 119
• preble county: 116
• champaign county:106

AES Ohio said on social media Sunday night that crews were working to restore power.

“Our teams include damage assessment crews and tree crews who at times have to remove debris before our line crews can step in to work on the lines. Crews are restoring power quickly and safely.
