JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Action News Jax's First Alert weather team is tracking a hot and humid day ahead with a few afternoon showers.
First Alert meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh said Tuesday morning will be dry and muggy, with temperatures in the mid-70s. Later today, highs will be in the 90s inland and 90s along the coast. It feels like temperatures will reach 105+ before rain or storms arrive.
A few showers and storms will develop west of Jacksonville before lunchtime and spread eastward through the afternoon. A few showers and storms will remain in the evening around and after the evening commute.

Hot and humid weather will continue throughout the week, with rain and storms possible every day, mainly in the afternoon.
There are no areas of concern in the tropics.
