“Also, I don't know of any scientific papers”
Did you know that almost everything written about climate is worthless? You can't find a paper yet because this is what I found.
As for the triggering of the Holocene interglacials we are in, there will never be any answer to explain the timing of the glacial/interglacial sequence. The current literature on this sort of thing is a box of straws dumped in zero gravity.
35 million years ago, Antarctica crossed the South Pole, causing some nice sea-level fluctuations that produced vast amounts of oil and gas on the world's coastal plains. North and South CO2 and temperature proxies are interesting, but not accurate to this day, and they are unlikely to lead to anything when we have the best data record ever.
That's all I have to say about the climate of the Arctic and Antarctic.
The decline in aviation caused by the Obama recession caused global temperatures to drop to the UAH baseline. The climate science community just says, it's weird, bad things are happening, it's weather, but it's getting colder, it's not getting warmer, so ignore it.
There are absolutely no answers in the field of climatology that can explain what has happened over the past few decades. Any temperature estimate prior to the 1800s is a proxy value and unfortunately lacks any supporting data to attempt to build a model. This exercise is about trying to figure out what will happen next year or in a few years, not at the end of this century or last century.
This requires data.
If you want to see the data, it's in this post and I'll be happy to answer any questions you have.
Finally, the lockdown period? Aviation emissions were cut in half over the course of a few months, which was all that was needed for modeling, and my model matched the observed results very well.
When I finish this model and remove it from UAH, if it matches the solar trend.
I will send you a copy when I publish this paper.
