Snowfan reports that much of Europe and Germany are also not seeing heat waves.
Germany is already halfway through its summer with no sign of the heat wave predicted by Health Minister Karl Lauterbach or the “summer of hell” that Marc Benecke calls “the summer of hell”, which could of course lead to a health emergency situation and possible lockdown.
In fact, quite the opposite, with severe cold temperatures in the North and Baltic Seas in mid-July, Europe found itself surrounded by a sea of low temperatures.

In mid-July 2024, NOAA's reanalysis showed that seas off the coast of Europe and offshore West Africa up to the equator were generally too cold compared to the 1991-2020 WMO global climate average (blue and purple). This applies to the eastern North Atlantic, including the North and Baltic Seas, and even the central Mediterranean.
Next we look more closely at the North Sea and Baltic Sea:

Based on the latest data available on July 13, 2024, the NOAA reanalysis shows that most of these two sea areas are significantly below the WMO global climate average for 1991-2020 on July 16, 2024.
Reports that water temperatures were too high there in mid-July 2024 are clearly fake news.
