The utility also said communities served by the Bedford, Nashua and Newport job centers were hit hard by the storm.

Goodwins Mills Fire Rescue said several trees fell on South Waterboro Road and were on power lines. They also responded to a tree on Alfred Road.

The Keene Fire Department assisted with the evacuation of residents while coordinating with tree removal companies to remove the debris. Officials planned to further assess the damage Wednesday. They said no injuries were reported.
Claremont Motorsports Park also reported significant storm damage, including blown down walls next to the grandstands, downed trees and damaged fences.
Repairs to the track began Tuesday night, but Wednesday's practice was canceled.
