OGLE COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – The National Weather Service (NWS) posted on its social media pages Tuesday afternoon that Monday night's storms spawned two EF-0 tornadoes.
Byron saw the first EF-0 tornado of the night at 7:44 p.m., which continued until 7:51 p.m. Storm surveys showed the tornado traveled 5 miles east and was 200 yards wide at its maximum. There have been no reports of casualties.

Shortly after, Davis Junction was hit by an EF-0 tornado. The tornado lasted for two minutes from 7:58 pm to 8 pm, with a path of 1.7 miles long, a maximum width of 200 yards, and wind speeds of up to 80 mph. There have been no reports of casualties.

The EF scale, or Enhanced Fujita scale, rates tornadoes based on wind speed and damage, according to the National Weather Service.
