Shukla Paksha Ekadashi in the month of Ashada is also known as Devshayani Ekadashi. Lord Vishnu falls asleep on this day and Prabodhini Ekadashi wakes up four months later. Devshayani Ekadashi takes place after Jagannath Rathyatra. Before starting daily rituals, one should carefully check the tithes and the auspicious or inauspicious times.
