Rescue after a storm
Thursday will start muggy, cloudy with showers. The greater Boston area will dry out quickly, with mostly cloudy skies continuing into the late morning. Meanwhile, southeastern Massachusetts (mainly the Cape and islands) will see occasional showers until noon. Dry air will flow from west to east throughout the day as more comfortable air masses settle over the region. By the afternoon, you'll notice a drop in humidity as the skies clear. The peak will land in the 80s, not the 90s as it has been the past few days.
Friday Picks
Without a doubt, Friday is the best day of the week! The sky will be clear most of the day. Fresh mornings in the 60s will rise to the 80s. Dew points in the upper 50s and lower 60s will seal the deal on nice weather. Lower dew point temperatures mean comfortable humidity levels.
Our zip line tour this week will be in Hyannis on Friday morning from 6am to 10am. If the temperature is around 70 degrees, that's perfect. Wear sunscreen!
weekend is coming
The weekend is expected to remain dry and partly sunny. It will get hotter and muggier, but not as oppressive as the heat wave we just experienced.
