MISSOULA — It was a hot and hazy Wednesday afternoon with temperatures once again reaching highs in the 90s.
In addition to the high temperatures, the weak system will bring a slight chance of scattered thunderstorms (15 to 20 percent) tonight into early Thursday morning. The main concerns here are wind gusts and lightning strikes.
This will soon dissipate by late morning and afternoon Thursday as highs remain in the mid-90s.
Temperatures will indeed rise Friday into the weekend. By next Wednesday, highs will run into the mid-90s to low 100s.
