South Florida hot and humid with afternoon storm
There's a storm today. Sandra, we're going to see more or less impact from Saharan dust. It's a little scattered. So as the winds subside, we're going to see these storms break out again, primarily this afternoon, late this morning and early evening, primarily west of the turnpike. The first thing you'll notice, though, is high humidity. Once again we face a significant risk from high temperatures. The temperature didn't drop much last night. Palm City has 81, Hobe Bay has 80, Vero has 80 TEQUESTA JUPITER FARM, 8279, and Fort Pierce has 81. We have 82 in PBIA, 84 in DELRAY, 85 in Highland Beach and 84 in Boca. We're going to see that the effects of the storm are really likely to be felt around 10 a.m. but will peak during the midday and afternoon hours. This upside-down yellow triangle is actually a sign that you need to be aware that you may be affected. The weather will change due to some storms, although it may not be as hot. So we didn't get a heat warning. Temperature range low 90
