Mike Trout usually goes viral for an incredible defensive performance or a monster home run. The Los Angeles Angels star went viral after appearing in a movie commercial during the MLB Home Run Derby on Monday night tornado.
Trout's appearance in this weather-related film is perfect for a man who might become a weatherman in the afterlife. In 2016, he joined the Weather Channel to cover live snowstorms. In 2018, Trout read the weather report to Ken Rosenthal during a game. The Angels had fun with various segments during the game in which Trout read a brief weather report.

A lifelong .299 hitter, Trout was one of the best athletes to ever play the game. He was an 11-time All-Star, three-time MVP and nine-time Silver Slugger, but has been hampered by multiple injuries over the past four seasons.
Trout played just 36 games in 2021, 119 games in 2022, 82 games in 2023 and 29 games this year before going on the injured list with a serious knee injury. Prior to entering the IL, the 32-year-old was batting .220 with a .325 on-base percentage. He hit 10 home runs in the first month of the season.
