(WGGB/WSHM) – Several power outages were reported as storms moved through western Massachusetts.
As of 6 p.m. Wednesday, Eversource reported 1,400 outages across western Massachusetts, with some of the hardest-hit communities including Westhampton, Plainfield, Windsor and Cumington.
Meanwhile, National Grid reported more than 3,100 power outages in the region, with the majority occurring in towns such as Northampton, Belchertown and Williamstown.
Wednesday's outages came less than a day after a storm arrived and caused damage to parts of Franklin County.
