Some of these showers may start early in the mountains and foothills, but then become isolated severe threats with the potential for heavy rainfall. The marginal risk is level one. Some of these storms may bring us some localized flooding that will last into Sunday. The two times on Saturday look really interesting for us, though. So from morning to morning we would go to the mountains and the foothills and then in the afternoon we would go to the Piedmont Triad and the foothills. As a result, localized flooding becomes a bigger problem. Tomorrow, the threat of damaging winds from severe weather will be in the Eastern Triad, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and even the Eastern Foothills, so heavy rain, localized flooding, major events there, and damage Possibility of strong downwelling and strong winds. Remember, this is risk level one, so not everyone is going to see severe weather tomorrow, but gosh, it would be great if we could top out anywhere close to a half inch to an inch of rain.
