Chicago in the crosshairs of severe storms
After a stormy weekend in the Midwest, the start of the work week will be no different. Major cities such as Chicago and Milwaukee faced the threat of severe weather Monday that could bring damaging winds, large hail and even tornadoes. The Storm Prediction Center lists 13 million people at Level 3 of the 5-level severe weather risk.

Heat warnings have been issued for the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Florida. Meanwhile, the central United States is joining in the sweaty fun, with temperatures expected to hit triple digits, while the West continues to swelter in deadly conditions.
