Impact day: Heavy rain in the evening, causing flash flood warning
Across New Mexico. As you can see, we are in impact mode today. Downtown Albuquerque and 7070 degrees are nice. But here is a view of the Sandia Mountains. Again, here we go. We're going to go through a lot of things that we're going to go through. We have a flash flood warning and there will be heavy rain later tonight. We have a very active monsoon pattern that will sweep across the state through the weekend. The temperature is 75 degrees at 9:00 and will rise to 92 degrees by 3:00. These showers will arrive before 5:00 and will last until around 9pm tonight. Look, there are a lot of flood warnings across the state from Taos to Santa Fe to Silver City. It's coming. Heavy rainfall will flow from the northeastern parts of the state to the southwestern parts of the state. As you can see, we have some areas that are slightly affected by excessive flooding, or areas that may be affected by excessive flooding. If you're in the Ruidoso area as well as the Las Vegas area, you need to keep an eye on the sky and keep an eye on the weather because you do have a lot of burn scars and the flooding there could be serious, but we hope not. But this is just a warning, so these storms will begin to appear around noon. As you can see at 3:00, they are moving from the north through the southwestern part of the state. They're going to drop, and these storms will continue into Sunday or so. They'll be here again on Sunday, then they'll pop up at the same time (5pm), and then they'll be here even on Monday. But there will only be a few showers on Monday. This is good news. Monday's impact wasn't as big. So that will be a Monday thing. Once we start clearing those storms that move into our area. Farmington is one of the monsoon-affected areas that could see rain tomorrow and temperatures there will rise to around 94 and 89 degrees. Continuing to the southwestern corner of the state, you can see areas also affected by rain on Saturday. The temperature in Silver City will be around 89 degrees. Temperatures will reach around 84 degrees on Sunday. There are lots of light rain cells across the state. Then head to the southeastern region of the state. Roswell will be the hottest area in the state, with a temperature of 97 degrees. However, things will get cooler on Sunday as the rain begins and temperatures drop to around 84 degrees. Look at Northeast Las Vegas, one of the areas I talked about that is affected by burn scars. They will be hit by rain, with temperatures in the 80s on Saturday and 71 degrees on Sunday. There are also a lot of rain cells in the pattern. North Central Region. The temperature in Santa Fe is about 84 degrees. Also remember that you are one of the areas that may be affected by excessive rainfall, there is a slight risk there and then that will continue into the metropolitan area through Sunday. We're about 92 degrees. The rain is still falling and will continue. We will then return to Albuquerque and end the day at eight o'clock. 92 degrees. Then we have a chance of rain the rest of the day. Well, to be precise, Sunday will be in another impact mode for the rest of the week. And then on Monday it happens
