TWIN CITIES, Minn. — The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities predicts morning fog will gradually dissipate and skies will be partly clear. Isolated thunderstorms are expected throughout the day, with some storms likely to produce heavy rainfall and gusty winds.
Temperatures today will be near 80°F, according to the National Weather Service. Outdoor plans should be made with caution as occasional showers and thunderstorms are possible. Although no severe weather is expected, stronger storm cells could bring heavy rain and wind gusts in excess of 30 mph. The highest chance of rainfall is in western Wisconsin.
The extended weather forecast shows a variety of conditions across the Twin Cities metro area. There's a 35% chance of rain on Monday, with a high of 84°F. There is a 45% chance of showers on Tuesday with a high of 79°F. By Wednesday, weather conditions will improve with clear skies and a high of 78°F. The rest of the week will be sunny, with highs on Saturday ranging from 82°F to 90°F. The current air quality index is 45, indicating good air quality.
