Tonight: Increasing clouds and mild weather. Lo 70. Calm and calm.
Monday: Scattered storms in the afternoon. Hello 85.
Tuesday: Lost storm in the afternoon. Hello 89.
Temperatures rose quickly to 92 degrees on Sunday. Clouds will increase overnight into Monday, with scattered storms developing Monday afternoon and evening. This will be the best chance for a large storm all week, with some backyards expected to receive 0.5 inch to 1 inch of rain Monday night.
Storms are still forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, but overall coverage will be significantly reduced, with many areas remaining dry both days. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s this week, so enjoy the hot weather and expect some helpful storms.
A cold front will move through the area on Thursday, potentially causing more storms, but we're still unsure about coverage. Looking ahead, next weekend will start to be dry and comfortable with temperatures in the upper 80s and lower humidity. Next Sunday, the heat and humidity will begin to return, with highs approaching 90 degrees again.
