We had a mostly sunny Saturday with highs of 90° on both sides. But Sunday will be a day of change as the two systems become one. Currently, the system we have been watching all week is stalled to our south. Another low pressure system to our west and another cold front will begin to extend into our area. This combines into one system with two low pressure systems. This setup could bring excellent rainfall opportunities to ArkLaTex.
The Weather Prediction Center said there will be a slight chance of excessive rainfall with a marginal risk on Sunday and a slight risk with a marginal risk on Monday. The threat of flash flooding will also be possible. Remember: turn around! Don't drown!
As far as temperatures go, morning lows will be in the mid-70s from Monday into next weekend. Highs Sunday afternoon will be around 90 degrees, lows Monday will be in the 80s, lows will be in the 80s Monday and 80s Tuesday through Thursday. By next Friday, afternoon highs will be in the mid to upper 80s, still below normal. Stay dry and safe!
