    The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest weather forecast highlighted that distinct weather patterns are expected to occur across several states in India due to a distinct low pressure area over interior Odisha and adjoining Chhattisgarh. The IMD has predicted that isolated very heavy rainfall will occur in parts of Madhya Pradesh on July 22 and 23, while Gujarat, Konkan and Goa and Maharashtra are also expected to face extremely heavy rainfall in the next three days. Some areas will experience heavy to heavy rainfall.

    In addition, Uttarakhand is expected to experience extremely heavy rainfall on July 22, and Himachal Pradesh is expected to experience extremely heavy rainfall on July 22 and 23.     IMD predicts rainfall, thunderstorms in Maharashtra

    The IMD expects light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning on Monday in Maharashtra. Selected areas of Maharashtra are likely to receive rainfall in the next three hours. The IMD has also predicted that moderate rainfall is expected in isolated areas such as Mumbai, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindudug, Thane and Satara Ghats in the next three hours.

    IMD issues orange alert for heavy rain in Goa

    The meteorological department has issued an orange warning for Goa. There will be intermittent rainfall, including brief heavy showers, with wind gusts up to 50km/h. The IMD also predicts that squally weather is likely to occur along and near the northern coast of Maharashtra from July 22 to July 24, with wind speeds of up to 45 kilometers per hour and 55 kilometers per hour, and gusts up to 40 kilometers per hour. 65 kilometers.

    IMD predicts heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh

    The IMD has also predicted light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning in many parts of Himachal Pradesh.
