“Bridge” will return on August 25th and September 15th. Get your daily weather fix now with meteorologist Daniel Johnson. Hey, it's a great weekend for all the outdoor fun. Overall, it's been a dry weekend with partly cloudy skies, but conditions will become more fluid as we head into the upcoming work week. More on that coming soon, but here’s a look at the dry outdoors in the city. But we are tracking a few showers across the area. We'll show you on the radar soon, but it's generally dry for most of us at this time. It's now 81 degrees and mostly cloudy, but we're watching the dew point. It continues to climb. We've all had dew points these past few days in the 1950s, which have made us feel very comfortable. But now we're in this tricky category when it comes to dew point. The same will be true next week. The highest price today is 87. We did have a hint of rain. Just a few showers. That did happen earlier today and there are still some showers. So what should we focus on in the next few days? Well, that sticky humidity of summer is back. We'll be taking note of this over the next few days. Humidity will also increase. Showers and storms possible. But the good news is, if you want it dry, at least we don't expect any washouts over the next few days. But please bring an umbrella with you when you go out every day this week, just in case, the temperature outside is comfortable, but still a bit humid. 71 Now in Salem, 75. In Charlestown, Shelbyville 78. Shelbyville 72. As I mentioned, dew point is a measure of perceived humidity. We were in the mid-to-upper 60s and while we were there, it felt sticky. This sticky humidity will be with us all week. So Monday through Thursday, it's going to start to get sticky. But even though the humidity is high, it's not very hot. Temperatures will be in the mid-80s as we expect more clouds and a chance of showers. But I mentioned that the chance of showers this week isn't very high, so we're not expecting any washouts, just about a 30 to 40 to 50 percent chance of rain. So sometimes just moistening the ground a little is all that's needed. But it definitely won’t rain all day. So for the next 12 hours, we're going to stay dry until at least around 3 or 4 in the morning. We'll be up early for the Monday morning commute with the possibility of a few showers. Again, not everyone will see rain overnight. The lowest price will drop to around 70. Now we are tracking some showers. Most of us do. A heavy rain shower is happening right now in Clark County. Now traveling through Charlestown. One just north of Madison. Grayson County has some heavier showers. Litchfield reports some rain in Edmonson County as well. A little lightning related to some of these. We cannot rule out the possibility of isolated showers or storms in the area tonight. That's because of our southern border. It's barely moving, but it will slowly move northward over the next few days. This will give us a chance of rain over the next few days. So tonight is just an isolated storm opportunity. Lower 1970s to upper 1960s. So it's not bad as far as temperatures go, but it's going to be a little sticky tonight. There may be a storm tomorrow. But they can be very spread out, which means they hit and miss. Not everyone will see it rain, and it won't rain all day. 85 So tomorrow will be warm and sticky. Here's a detailed 12-hour weather forecast to help you get through Monday. Therefore, the best chance for rain is during the early morning commute. With temperatures in the mid-70s, then mid-day and early afternoon temperatures will hit the mid-80s and we'll have plenty of drying time before showers and storms are possible during tomorrow night's commute. Monday will be warm and sticky with temperatures in the mid 80s. A quick look at FutureCast shows that some of these storms will pop up tonight and early tomorrow. It will be dry by lunchtime, with more showers and storms expected by dinnertime tomorrow. We're going to rinse and repeat. As far as this pattern goes throughout the week. Again, there is no elimination. That's the good news. Although we still need some rain. I think there is more good news. VICKY, We don't have a real 90 here until next weekend, so we're taking a break from the heat. It's just a little shaky at times. it's beautiful there. Today is really GRE
