LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Scattered storms will continue into late tonight, promoting the development of some scattered fog by early Tuesday after they disappear from radar. Nighttime temperatures will drop into the 60s.
Clouds moving from the southwest will limit storm development Tuesday afternoon, however, there will still be some isolated cells on radar during the afternoon. Highs by then will be in the 80s.
Any storms on the radar Tuesday afternoon will dissipate by Wednesday night. The weather will remain cloudy with temperatures only dropping into the upper 60s to lower 70s.
The storm will become more widespread Wednesday afternoon as a cold front begins to approach from the north. Daytime highs will reach over 80 degrees.
Thursday offers the highest chance of storms this week as a cold front moves through the area. How far south the front extends will determine how dry this weekend is. Now, the front will sink into the Tennessee Valley and possibly further south, which will make for a dry and warm weekend with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
