ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – It's going to be a very quiet night with temperatures climbing into the mid-60s. It's worth noting that there's at least a chance of seeing the Northern Lights tonight. We just need to clear some clearing on the northern horizon.
Tomorrow will be a familiar quiet start to the day, with scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon. Some of these may become active with gusty winds and frequent lightning. The possibility of one or two severe thunderstorm warnings occurring at random cannot be ruled out. Tomorrow is likely to be the peak of our rainfall as rain chances taper off Thursday and no longer possible by Friday. Our weekend is looking dry and sunny as temperatures begin to rise. In fact, it seems increasingly likely that we'll be back around 90° by next Monday.
