After days of calm, new tropical disturbance forms in Atlantic Ocean
The National Hurricane Center is currently tracking a new tropical disturbance in the Atlantic Ocean that will hit parts of the Caribbean later next week.
After weeks of lull in the tropics, the National Hurricane Center is watching for turmoil in the Atlantic Ocean.
The disturbance is located east of the Lesser Antilles and is expected to interact with an approaching low pressure area over the next few days, according to the National Hurricane Center.
The disturbance is likely to intensify and develop as it moves toward the Lesser Antilles early to mid next week and then the Greater Antilles this weekend, forecasters added.
