Scottsdale city officials have closed the northern portion of the McDowell Sonoran Reservation (north of Dynamite Boulevard) until further notice due to a wildfire caused by lightning.
Officials said there is no immediate threat, but wind gusts in the area could change quickly. Residents should pay attention to emergency messages.
