Some time back, Abhishek came to PG and created a ruckus, after which Kriti helped her roommate get a new PG and both of them stopped answering his calls. This is believed to have angered the accused, leading him to murder Kriti.
Abhishek was arrested from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, where he allegedly fled after committing the horrific crime.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda said the accused has been taken to Bengaluru for transit remand.
