According to the National Weather Service in central Illinois, sunny trends will continue on Friday with highs between 81 and 87 degrees. Friday night will be sunny with temperatures dropping to 59 to 65 degrees. Temperatures will be slightly warmer on Saturday, with highs between 83 and 88 degrees, with a chance of thunderstorms in the evening. Saturday night's low will be between 67 and 71 degrees.
A 50 percent chance of thunderstorms is forecast through Sunday, with temperatures reaching 83 to 89 degrees during the day and 69 to 73 degrees overnight. Monday will be the warmest day, with highs between 85 and 92 degrees, and a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Monday night's low temperature will be between 69 and 74 degrees.
Looking ahead to next week, temperatures are expected to remain warm in central Illinois, with highs near 90 degrees by midweek. Skies are expected to be partly cloudy across the region, with a moderate risk of thunderstorms continuing into Tuesday and Wednesday.
