It's going to start to get a little muggy this afternoon as temperatures climb into the mid-80s with a mix of sunshine and clouds. By late afternoon we will start to escape some scattered showers. More scattered areas of rain and storms will shift tonight, but some communities will avoid the rain.
Scattered rain and storms will continue overnight at times and into Saturday morning, with temperatures dropping into the mid-60s.
We'll avoid scattered rain and storms for much of Saturday. Have an indoor backup plan for any outdoor activities, but don't worry, there will be plenty of drying time.
There won't be as many scattered showers and storms around Sunday, but there will still be some light rain in the city during the second half of the weekend. This leaves us with mostly cloudy and cool days in the upper 70s.
Weekend rainfall totals of 0.25 to 0.5 inches are common, but areas hit by multiple storms could easily receive more than an inch.
There will be more sunshine on Monday and Tuesday, but some scattered showers can't be ruled out for the area. As most of us stay dry, our temperatures will rise into the mid-80s.
On Wednesday, weather will get into the mid 80s with a small chance of rain.
Thursday will bring plenty of sunshine and temperatures will likely return to the average mid-80s.
