Temperatures will reach 90 degrees this afternoon and there will be a few rounds of storms tomorrow. No severe weather is expected, but heavy rainfall is possible in some storms.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Sunday and Monday are Impact Alert days.
A hot and humid weekend is coming. There will be plenty of sunshine today and highs will reach 90 degrees. You will also notice an increase in humidity. Tomorrow will bring a few showers and high pressure in the mid 80s. No severe weather is expected. Some storms may produce locally heavy rainfall, with rainfall amounts of up to an inch.
Scattered storm chances will continue daily through the coming week. It's going to be a very wet week. Highs will be in the 80s on Monday, back into the 90s on Tuesday, and back into the 90s on Wednesday and Thursday. This would bring heat index values into the triple digits.
Stay hydrated and provide your pet with plenty of water. As always, when the thunder roars, come inside.
