Video: Sunny, warm and comfortable
Matt Hoenig breaks down the chances of the next storm after a warm and sunny start to the weekend.
We'll start the weekend with plenty of sunshine and a comfortably warm air mass. Temperatures are back in the 80s later today, with temperatures in the 80s in many locations including the Great Northern Forest of the White Mountains, from the Mount Washington Valley to the Lake District at South Point, although *** the coastline is a little cooler with temperatures in the 70s Degrees and above, ** * Today, the sea breeze blows from Portsmouth to Hampton Beach. Today there was a little more smoke overhead. This is expected to have minimal impact on air quality today, mainly for those who are particularly sensitive to fine particles in the air, which will also be overhead tomorrow. That was the only fly in the ointment of the weekend. Also*** the gorgeous events at Portsmouth's Supreme Boat Festival continue today with the boats setting off at 10am this morning and looking great on the coast with hazy sunshine and *** a light breeze from the ocean this afternoon keeping The temperature was in the 1970s. If you're enjoying a *** beach day, the light waves look great today, but the UV index is only around 8, which is only about 2 feet away. So remember to bring sunscreen. At five o'clock today, it is high tide. But there was plenty of beach property available for water camping this morning. Maybe you want to take the kids berry picking later today, that would be a great day too. Many farms are open again this weekend, with temperatures in the 60s for picking this morning, 80s for picking this afternoon, and plenty of sunshine, clear and cool tonight. There may be valley fog in some areas, but I think it will be light in the north, closer to 50 degrees, and probably around 50 elsewhere, although *** there may be fog in the lower 60s, especially in Manchester, close to tomorrow coastline. Another nice day, albeit sunny, with clouds moving through in the evening, especially in southern New Hampshire, but before temperatures return to the mid to upper 80s. Tomorrow will start sunny again with just a few clouds drifting into southern areas, but the driest conditions will move into Monday as the weakest weather system starts to move back over the ocean. Showers will develop here before dawn on Monday and the start of the work week looks cool and cloudy with a chance for a few scattered showers. Some sunny weather is possible to the north and west. Temperatures there will most likely reach the upper 70s, but temperatures elsewhere will be in the low to mid 70s. *** The next few days will be comfortable before things start to get more humid Tuesday into Wednesday. Conditions for next week, *** will be a bit unsettled with daily chances of showers and thunderstorms, but it will really warm up later in the week with temperatures reaching the mid-80s.
