Orlando, Florida – Saturday will be mild and muggy, with widespread showers and thunderstorms expected again this afternoon.

The high temperature this afternoon will be about 95 degrees. Our chance of rain is 60%.

Tonight, the low will drop to 75 degrees. The storm should be over by 10 a.m. and then we'll start over again on Sunday. The maximum temperature rises to 94 degrees, and the chance of rainfall remains at 60%

Showers will begin moving into western counties such as Marion and Sumter by early afternoon. As we saw yesterday, the movement of the storm will be slow and erratic. This means localized flooding and standing water on roads will become an issue.

The normal high temperature for this time of year is 92 degrees Fahrenheit. The chance of rain will reach 70% on Monday and Tuesday, then drop back to 60% by Wednesday.

The National Hurricane Center is continuing to monitor waves in the mid-Atlantic. Currently, the wave has a 20% chance of developing further as it propagates west-northwest. Models vary as to the future of this wave, but if it's a factor in our weather, it won't be until the end of next week into early next week.
