DENVER (KDVR) — The smoke affecting Denver’s weather is starting to improve as smoke from wildfires in Canada and the Pacific Northwest moves east of the city and into the Front Range.

There may still be some light smoke on Thursday, but it won't be as thick as the past few days. Air quality will improve on Friday and Saturday, with a chance of rainfall expected.

The outlook for the remainder of July looks hot and dry. The Pinpoint Weather team predicts above-normal temperatures every day until Wednesday.

One factor the team is looking at is smoke from wildfires in Oregon. If smoke from these fires returns to Colorado, daily temperatures could drop several degrees.
