So hopefully they can get the situation under control soon. Uh, back home, we already fucked. We stayed dry. Luckily we did get some rain again. The forecast still calls for rain. We've had below average rainfall here over the past few days, some areas have had decent downpours, but it's been so scattered in nature that other areas may not have had any at all over the years Saw too much rain for weeks. So as we get into the second half of this weekend and into next week, we're going to be active again. There's also some hot, muggy air in the forecast. We're enjoying low humidity now and as it moves east, we're enjoying high pressure. Keep dry. You can see it's raining in parts of the Mississippi Valley. That will eventually make its way into our area. As we move into tomorrow, it will be mostly night time. We'll get into that here soon, but with those temperatures and dew points I mentioned, we're already in the 50s and feel very comfortable. Eventually, though, when you see the rains start to creep in, the humidity will move into our area. So the temperatures tonight are still in the upper 80s, 87 88 degrees in Cincinnati. , the temperature in the Dry Ridge area was 85 degrees Fahrenheit. 87 Sharonville 88. Harrison 89 New Richmond. So if you're going out tonight, whether it's a guitar festival, music festival, uh, Cincinnati Music Festival or any other dinner program, event, or you just want to hang out, this is a great night. By sunset we will be in the mid to upper 80s. It's not yet nine o'clock, but by sunset the temperatures will drop from the 80s to the 70s and the low humidity will still make it feel pretty nice. But as I mentioned next week, we're really starting to increase the chance of rain, not the chance of a washout, but it's enough to keep your umbrella and rain gear handy throughout the week. Going into Sunday, most of the first half of the day will be dry. There may be some scattered showers in the afternoon, but it's late afternoon now. As the evening progresses we begin to see activity expand, along with scattered showers. Some thunderstorms, a few downpours. It broke. Uh, Sunday night, but come Monday we'll do it again. We'll have some pop-up storms here and there throughout the afternoon. There were also spells of rain during the evening, including downpours. Just rinse and repeat over the next few days of forecasting. Tonight, finally getting into the early 60s as we go through the next few days and maybe even tomorrow. Even with a little rain in the afternoon it wasn't a bad day and we were going to start the day in the low 70s. Ended up trying to get into the mid 80s in the afternoon. Some lingering hot feelings
