Sunday is expected to be another hot and sunny day with temperatures reaching the upper 90s, with a slight chance of sudden afternoon/evening showers. Temperatures will return to triple digits on Monday as an upper-level ridge of high pressure develops over the central United States and moves into the Texas Panhandle, with temperatures continuing to rise throughout the week and into next weekend.
