The committee chairman said that as per the decision of the temple administration, the empty wardrobes will be shifted to designated rooms.
The committee formed to take inventory of Ratna Bhandar has urged the state government to use the latest technology for the restoration work of Puri Srimandir Ratna Bhandar, High Commission Chairman Justice Biswanath Rath said on Monday.
Sources revealed that after the high-level committee meeting, Justice Rath told the media that the empty lockers inside Ratna Bandar would be opened first.
The committee chairman said that as per the decision of the temple administration, the empty wardrobes will be shifted to designated rooms. He added that this was not part of the standard operating procedure (SOP) but the government had been informed.
“If necessary, the empty cabinets will be repaired. We value public opinion. We are taking care to ensure that there are no disputes in the future. We have advised the management committee to use the advanced technology available,” he added.
He further said, “While carrying out the restoration work of Ratna Bhandar, we will take special care not to hinder the rituals of the brother gods and not to affect the tourists. The temple management will take care of it.”
