DENVER (KDVR) — Denver has more hot and dry weather in the forecast this week.
Tonight's weather: mostly sunny
Sunday night will be mostly clear. Temperatures will drop to around 60 degrees depending on the season.

Tomorrow's weather: Warm, dry, smoky
Monday will be hot and sunny. High temperatures will rise into the mid-to-upper 90s, just shy of the previous high of 99 degrees first set in 1877 and subsequently matched in 1995 and 2005.

Westward winds can also bring wildfire smoke and reduce air quality to levels that are “unhealthy for sensitive groups.”
Looking Ahead: Hot and Dry Remainder of Week
Tuesday and Wednesday will reach the upper 90s, also in the record-high range.

The record broken Tuesday was 101 degrees set in 2005, and the record broken Wednesday was 100 degrees set in 1889.

Temperatures will remain above normal Thursday into the weekend, reaching the mid-90s. A slight pattern shift will occur on Friday and into the weekend, which will increase the chance of isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
