The dry weather is coming to an end. More muggy air and showers will arrive in the Detroit metro area.
Clouds will increase Sunday night over southeastern Michigan. A few scattered showers are possible overnight, mainly after 2 a.m., with temperatures only falling into the low 70s in most areas. Lows in Detroit will be in the low 70s, Ann Arbor will be in the mid-60s and Port Huron will be in the mid-60s. Winds will be calm from the south around 5 mph.

A light drizzle is possible for Monday morning's drive. Otherwise, there is a greater chance of scattered showers and thundershowers in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will be a little cooler, with highs in the mid-80s, but humidity will rise. Increased moisture in the air can make people feel stuffy. Winds will be from the south around 5 mph.
Monday night will be mainly cloudy with a chance of showers. Lows will be around 70 degrees.
Tuesday
On Tuesday, the weather will be mainly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. While a few showers will develop over the area during the morning drive, there's a greater chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. and into the evening. At night, partly cloudy with a chance of showers. Lows will be in the 60s.
Wednesday
A high-pressure system will move across the Great Lakes on Wednesday, which could give southeastern Michigan a brief break from showers. Temperatures will reach the 80s to 90s under cloudy skies. The chance of isolated showers will return overnight. Lows will be around 70 degrees.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible Thursday through Saturday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s. Lows will be in the 60s to 70s.
The normal high temperature in the Detroit metro area is 83 degrees.
