CLEVELAND, Ohio — Northeast Ohio should see some needed rain on Monday, with the National Weather Service forecasting a high likelihood of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
Showers and thunderstorms are still possible overnight, but unlikely. Meanwhile, Monday will be muggy with high temperatures approaching the mid-80s. High humidity will keep nighttime lows around 70 degrees.
It's going to be a hot and muggy week in Northeast Ohio. Temperatures will steadily rise as the week progresses, with highs reaching the mid-90s on Thursday. Showers and thunder are possible each day through Saturday. Temperatures will begin to drop back into the mid-80s on Friday and will remain there through the weekend. So far, the weather looks good on Sunday, with mostly sunny skies and a high of about 84 degrees.
The Cleveland area will lose two minutes of sunshine Monday. Sunset is nearly 20 minutes earlier than at the beginning of the month.
