Continued rain and return of showers
Overnight rain will change to intermittent showers throughout Monday. Temperatures are expected to be cooler with generally overcast skies and highs in the mid-70s. The humidity will increase a bit, making it feel a bit muggy. It's a good day to bring an umbrella and maybe plan some indoor activities.
Warming midweek
We'll have more sunshine on Tuesday, although there's still a chance for some showers and storms in the afternoon across southern interior New England. High temperatures will reach the mid 80s. Wednesday will be generally cloudy with showers and thundershowers. Temperatures will peak in the 70s and humidity will rise to tropical levels.
Hazy, hot and humid weekend
Humidity remains high from Thursday into Sunday, with a tropical feel in the air. Thursday offers the best chance of staying dry, but unsettled weather patterns will dominate the weekend. Highs will be in the mid-80s and due to higher humidity it will feel like the mid-90s. If you spend time outdoors, it's best to stay hydrated, seek shade, and use sunscreen. The best chance of rain these days comes in the afternoon.
