There is some black smoke. We're going to investigate that heather and see what's going on there. Obviously this has nothing to do with the weather, but it is. Yes. Other than that, I mean, it's been a great few days, culminating yesterday at the 78 in Sacramento on Saturday 88. Today our temperatures will be around 990 degrees. The temperature at the executive airport is now 86 points. It tends to be cooler than GAGE 91 in downtown Yuba City. We are now Auburn in the mid-1980s. and Placerville, 83, of Fairfield. So we still have the delta breeze. The onshore current at Travis Air Force Base maintains a speed of 20 mph. Note that it fans out across the valley and Auburn feels the breeze. Placerville also helps control temperatures in the foothills. We also enjoyed cooler air at about 5000 feet which made a big difference in our afternoon heat. Satellite images show how clear the valley is. There is no activity in the Serara and along the coast. We do have some marine layers. You can see a lot of clouds here and a feeling of ebb and flow along the coast. It will resume tonight. It's a cold night on the coast but a cool and pleasant one in the middle of the valley. Smoke from the park fire continues to be blown north and east by southwesterly winds. A quick check on the overall air quality was pretty good throughout the valley. Every now and then it drops a little from the foothills. Just a little bit of onshore breeze blowing some of the smoke and kind of pushing it up the hill. If you are sensitive to particle pollution, you should limit the time you spend outside. But, you know, if you're relatively healthy, this condition won't necessarily bother you. Weather conditions will continue to keep near-surface smoke moving away from the north. Here's how one model painted the situation over the next 24 hours. Note that tonight, as the onshore breeze picks up, the smoke along Highway 49 is pushed farther up the mountains. But overnight tonight, it started to come back down. So if you're in Placerville, you'll notice a little bit of haze this morning. You may see this again tomorrow morning. But the thickest smoke will stay north of Interstate 80. You can see a little bit of film, a blur, smoke from the park fire. But again, the air quality around Lake Tahoe is pretty good right now. This is something we look at every day. Tuesday will be a nice day for Northern California, starting in the valleys in the mid-50s and ending with temperatures near 90 degrees. But as the week ends, we have some big changes to discuss. Tomorrow there will be another cold start at higher altitudes. Afternoon temperatures will be near 80 for Truckers in South Lake Tahoe, with low temperatures in Arnold in the Yosemite Valley foothills reaching 80 to near 90 degrees. A very enjoyable evening. The temperature is around 60 degrees, giving you a comfortable start to the day. We'll be near 90 degrees in Auburn and 80 degrees at Angels Camp in Placerville and Jackson on the coast. It's another day with onshore breezes and pretty good ocean layer, a lot of clouds around San Francisco and all the way up to San Jose in Napa, some clouds are starting to start, but we're going to see clear skies in the afternoon with temperatures in the low 80s in San Francisco Golden Valley. A fairly good onshore breeze will keep temperatures just slightly below average for the day. Tomorrow in Sacramento, it'll be a degree or two above where we are today. But it's still below the 90s this time of year. Quite comfortable. Check out the 7-day forecast, though, as we do have some big changes to talk about. You'll notice that starting on Wednesday we lost the breeze. We entered the 90s. There you have it. Wait a moment. Yes. Wow, wow. I'm not making any promises, I'm not, and no, you're not. you did it. Hey, it's nice to have the air conditioner turned off all weekend long. This weekend, the windows are open. This is amazing. really good. Yes, but this weekend, take a good rest
