DENVER (KDVR) — Most of Colorado will see mostly sunny skies on Tuesday, with highs near triple digits across the Eastern Plains, according to the Denver weather forecast.

Heat is expected to hit the Plains this afternoon, with highs reaching below triple digits.
A heat advisory is in effect for the metro area from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. An air quality advisory is in effect for the northern Front Range until 4 p.m., and a fire weather advisory is in effect from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Tonight's weather: Sunny and mild
Skies will remain clear Tuesday night and the low will remain very mild. With light winds at night, lows will drop into the low 60s.

Wednesday will still be hot, but not that hot, with highs remaining in the upper 90s.
The weather will be sunny and hot in the middle of the week. Thursday, highs will be above average in the mid-90s, with a chance of showers across the southern Plains.
Friday also has warm high temperatures in the mid-90s, with a few afternoon clouds and a chance of showers.
Saturday, a weekend of sunshine and clouds with temperatures in the mid-90s and a chance for storms in the evening.
There will still be a lot of clouds on Sunday afternoon, with a high temperature around 90 degrees.
High and above-average temperatures continue into the start of the work week, with highs reaching around 90 degrees on Monday with partly sunny skies.
