Austin Chaney, chief meteorologist at the 7th Storm Center, said there is a chance of several storms tonight and the rest of the week, and the weather will be hot and muggy.

Tonight, we'll be tracking the chance of showers and storms tonight into tonight. The greatest risk of severe weather will be in our southwest, but localized storms may be strong. Tonight will be warm and muggy, with lows in the low 70s.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy with a chance of showers and storms. Coverage may be limited, but heavy rain and gusty winds are still possible in localized areas. The popularity peaked in the early 1980s.
