MIAMI VALLEY – The Miami Valley may see more scattered showers and thunderstorms this week.

Ritz said Tuesday night's storm had passed, but low-lying areas were prone to water accumulation.
Ritz said the flood threat is not over this week.
Scattered storms are possible Wednesday and Thursday. However, Ritz said most of the sustained heavy rain will arrive late Thursday night and Friday.
The Weather Prediction Center predicts that much of the Miami Valley will face a minor threat of flooding over the next four days.
In terms of severe weather threats, the Storm Prediction Center placed the Miami Valley under a marginal risk (one in five) for days two and three, Ritz said.
Wind is the main threat, but tornadoes are also possible.
