Current radar:
Houston – We expect the StormTracker 2 radar to remain relatively quiet over the next few days as high pressure moves in from Florida. Some showers may be visible on radar between now and Tuesday afternoon, but the chances are slim.

This morning's weather forecast:
It will be muggy again this morning with temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s. We're tracking a few light showers coming in from the coast, but nothing too serious.
Tuesday's forecast:
Tuesday will be similar to Monday. There's a 20% chance of isolated showers, but otherwise it's going to be hot! Highs are expected to be in the 90s, with temperatures feeling in the 100s.
Track the tropics:
There is a 50% chance of a tropical wave forming in the Atlantic Ocean over the next seven days. Waves move into areas of the Sahara with less dust and less wind shear, giving the waves a chance to develop. If it becomes a tropical storm, it will become Debbie. Thankfully, some large high-pressure domes will keep this system away from Texas, as they will push the storm closer to the Florida coast.
10-day forecast:
Saharan dust will cause haze for several days starting Tuesday afternoon. The haze will also help limit shower activity this week. Temperatures will remain in the mid-90s this week.
