Monday isn't very hot but very humid and we have more scattered showers and rumbles of thunder, with parts of southeastern Wisconsin getting no rain and other areas seeing over an inch of rain, especially Racine County and Keno Near the lakeside in Shaxian County.
Temperatures will rise further on Tuesday as southwesterly winds shift, with highs reaching the 80s. Temperatures remain steady in the mid-80s the rest of the week.
Tropical dew points will be in the mid-70s most of this week, and the sticky humidity won't go away. In fact, the humidity will get worse mid-week, with dew points approaching the mid-70s, and approaching terrible levels on Thursday and Friday.
Most of Tuesday will remain dry from morning to early afternoon. Some scattered showers and storms are possible late afternoon into the evening, but much of southeastern Wisconsin will remain dry.
There's also a chance of storms Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. These storms are more likely in southwestern Wisconsin, where stronger storms are possible. We'll have to see if these severe storms drift into southeastern Wisconsin. Much of Wisconsin is under a Level 1 marginal risk for severe storms on Tuesday, with the same marginal risk on Wednesday and Thursday.
