The son and daughter-in-law of Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta “Nandi” were injured on Tuesday when their car hit a guardrail, police said.
They said the couple was traveling from Delhi to Lucknow in a Mercedes car when the accident occurred on the Agra-Lucknow highway under Tilwar police station area at around 5 pm.
The couple was rushed to Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Medical College in Tilwa where they received first aid, police said.
Additional Superintendent of Police Sansar Singh said they sustained minor injuries and were referred to SGPGI, Lucknow.
Justices Shubhrant Shukla and Singh visited the crash site and assessed the situation.
