Gandhi on Monday resorted to the 'chakravyuh' metaphor, claiming that there was an atmosphere of fear surrounding the group and the six-member team had trapped the entire country in 'chakravyuh'.
Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Friday claimed that the Enforcement Directorate was planning a raid against him after he delivered a “chakravyuh” speech in Parliament.
Gandhi said he was “waiting with open arms.”
“Apparently 2-in-1 didn't like my Chakravyuh speech. ED 'insiders' told me a raid was being planned,” Gandhi said in a post earlier on Friday.

“Waiting with open arms @dir_ed..chai and biscuits on me,” the former Congress president said.
Gandhi on Monday used the “chakravyuh” metaphor as his theme, claiming that there was an atmosphere of fear surrounding the six-man group trapping the entire country in a “chakravyuh” that he promised would be broken by the Indian bloc.
Participating in the Lok Sabha debate on the 2024-25 budget, Gandhi said that the Indian National Development Inclusion Alliance (INDIA) will ensure that the House passes legal guarantees for MSP as well as caste census.
Thousands of years ago, six persons killed a young Abhimanyu in 'chakravyuh' in Kurukshetra, Haryana, he said, adding that 'chakravyuh' was violent and fear.
Gandhi made reference to the legend of Mahabharata, according to which Abhimanyu was killed in chakravyuh. “Chakravyuh” refers to a multi-tiered military formation whose purpose is to trap warriors by having opponents strategically arrange themselves into a formation resembling a lotus-shaped maze.
He had said that “chakravyuh” is also known as “padmavyuh” as its shape resembles a lotus (BJP's electoral symbol).
