Salem, who is currently serving a life sentence for his role in the blasts, last month appealed to the Bombay High Court seeking to block his transfer from Talohar Central Prison to Nashik Central Prison citing “security concerns”.
On June 25, his initial appeal was rejected by the court, but the court directed prison authorities to postpone his transfer until July 3.
