A speeding car collided with Vineth's motorcycle on Sunday morning, killing him on the spot.
A 34-year-old man died in a road accident near Pallipuram in Thiruvananthapuram early on Sunday morning. The deceased was identified as V. Vineeth, son of Attingal MLA OS Ambika.
According to reports, a speeding car traveling from Varkala to Thiruvananthapuram collided with Vineth's motorcycle at 5.30 am on Sunday. Vineth died on the spot, while his friend Akshay, who was sitting in the back seat, was seriously injured. Akshay is currently hospitalized
Vineeth is employed by the Edakode Service Cooperative and is a member of the CPM Edakode local committee. His father K. Varijakshan is a member of CPM Attingal district committee and his brother V. Vineesh is a member of CPM Thiruvananthapuram district committee and former national president of SFI.
