Aaj Ka Panchang, August 5, 2024: The third edition of Shravan Somwar Vrat, Ishti and Chandra Darshana will be held today.
AAJ KA PANCHANG, August 5, 2024: Drik Panchang said that Pratipada Tithi and Dwitiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha are scheduled to be held on Monday, August 5. Shukla Pratipada is considered an unfavorable time to start any auspicious event and falls under the Ashubh Muhurta time. In comparison, Shukla Dwitiya is a favorable time and is included in the list of Shubh Muhurta times. Three festivals are scheduled on this day: 3rd Shravan Somwar Vrat, Ishti and Chandra Darshana.

The sun is expected to rise at 5:45 am and set at 7:09 pm. Meanwhile, moonrise is expected at 6:15 a.m. and moonset is expected at 7:58 p.m.
TITHI, NAKSHATRA and RASHI details on August 5
Pratipada Tithi will continue till 6:03 pm, after which Dwitiya Tithi will begin. The inauspicious Ashlesha Nakshatra is expected to last till 3:21 pm, after which it transitions to another inauspicious Magha Nakshatra. The moon will stay in Karka Rashi till 3:21 pm and then shift to Simha Rashi. Meanwhile, the Sun is expected to be located in Karka Rashi.
Shubh Muhurat on August 5
Brahma Muhurta is expected to take place from 4:20 to 5:03 am, followed by Pratah Sandhya Muhurta from 4:41 to 5:45 am and Vijaya Muhurta from 2:41 to 3:34 pm. Godhuli Muhurta is expected to take place from 7:09 to 7:30 pm, while Abhijit Muhurta is expected to take place from 12:00 to 12:54 noon. Sayahna Sandhya Muhurta is scheduled from 7:09 pm to 8:13 pm. Nishita Muhurta is scheduled for August 6 from 12:06 to 12:48 noon.
August 5 Asub Muhurat
Rahu Kalam Muhurta is expected to be held from 7:25 to 9:06 am, followed by Yamaganda Muhurta from 10:46 am to 12:27 noon and Gulikai Kalam Muhurta from 2:07 to 3:48 pm. Dur Muhurtam is scheduled to be held from 12:54 pm to 1:47 pm and from 3:34 pm to 4:28 pm. Baana Muhurta is expected to be held at Mrityu from 8:45 am to all night, while Varjyam Muhurta is expected to be held on August 6 from 4:33 am to 6:18 am.
