Jaishankar briefed the leaders on the progress of the issue in Bangladesh and the current situation in the country.
Addressing an all-party meeting at the Center on the Bangladesh riots on Tuesday morning, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar responded to opposition leader Rahul Gandhi's assertion that it was too early to say anything about foreign conspiracies.
Jaishakar, however, added, “It is too early to make any decisions or rule out, but a Pakistani diplomat did change his social media profile picture in support of the unrest in Bangladesh.”
He said the center was monitoring all possibilities.
Jaishankar briefed the leaders on the progress of the issue in Bangladesh and the current situation in the country. He also talked about how former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina moved to India and how India will take care of the Bangladeshi leader.
Jaishankar said Hasina is currently in India and the Indian government hopes to give her time to let the Indian government know her future course of action.

About evacuation of Indians
Jaishankar told the leaders during the meeting that the central government is also in touch with the Bangladesh Army. According to sources, he said that this is a common situation and the government will take appropriate action at the appropriate time.
Sources revealed that party leaders were informed at the meeting that there are 20,000 Indian citizens in the country. Sources revealed that 8,000 Indian citizens have returned home so far. Jaishankar told the meeting that the Indian government is in touch with Indian nationals and the High Commission continues to function.
Leaders were told that the focus was on minorities and that they should be protected.
When Rahul Gandhi asked about India's long-term and short-term strategies, the government said it was a progressive situation and they would continue to analyze it.
Bangladesh crisis
Bangladesh is facing an unstable political situation, with Sheikh Hasina resigning after protests escalated. The protests, mainly student demands for an end to the government job quota system, took the form of anti-government protests.
In Dhaka, leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement proposed the formation of an interim government led by Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus to address ongoing challenges facing Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Hasina arrived in India on Monday evening after tendering her resignation. It is unclear whether Sheikh Hasina will continue to stay in Delhi or move elsewhere later.
